Introduction

The templated Food Control Plan – Food Service and Catering (FCP), is a pre-approved templated Food Control Plan produced by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and is currently one of the principle tools for achieving food safety in New Zealand retail food service outlets.

Note the video shows  a ‘trial’ version of the FCP and how it works.  This trial version was introduced  as part of the Voluntary Implementation Programme or VIP).  The notified FCP template replaces this version from 1 March 2016.  However the information and procedures are mostly the same and therefore the video still has merit as an introductory training tool.
